A former manager of the Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Foundation has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the association's president.
Colleen D. Vesper of Troy filed the lawsuit in Madison County, accusing I.T.B.O.F. President Gary Moore of creating a hostile work environment for her after she told him "that she was not interested in involving herself in a romantic relationship," according to a lawsuit filed Friday in Madison County Circuit Court.
In 1993 the I.T.B.O.F. hired Vesper as a bookkeeper, and 14 years later they promoted her to manager, according to the suit.
