Lawsuit says employer propositioned female worker

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- An O'Fallon billboard manufacturer has been accused of sexual harassment in a federal discrimination lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in federal district court in St. Louis by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

It alleges that Trinity Products Inc.'s director of operations hired a then-38-year-old waitress to be his assistant in October 2007. The suit says Ken Colletta began propositioning and making sexual comments to Rebecca Holland once she was his employee.

The suit says Holland resisted, the harassment continued and she complained to two supervisors. A short time later, Colletta advertised to fill her position and let her go.

Colletta declined comment.
