Harry Wolf of the regionally popular Waterloo German Band was named a 2009 inductee of the Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame.
He will join other nominees from across the state in a ceremony held Oct. 14 at the Governor's Mansion in Springfield.
Wolf was nominated by Waterloo Mayor Tom Smith.
The Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame was initiated by the state's General Assembly in 1994 to commemorate the achievements and contributions of citizens age 65 or older.
