Photos: Woman accused of stealing victim's ID, withdrawing over $12,000

(KMOV) -- Police are looking for a woman accused of forgery and stealing over $12,000 from a woman's bank account.

Authorities say that a woman's purse, which included her driver's license, was stolen.

It happened last month in west St. Louis County.

Police are now asking for the public's help in identifying the woman accused of using the victim's ID and withdrawing money from the victim's bank account.

Authorities say money was taken on two separate occasions at the Commerce Bank in O'Fallon and St. Peters.

The suspect is described as a white woman between 35 and 40-years-old. She has dark brown hair and is between 5'8" and 5'10" weighing around 200 pounds. She was seen wearing glasses.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call St. Peters police at (636) 477-6600 or O'Fallon police at (636) 379-5534.
