ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The FBI is accusing a suburban St. Louis police officer of sexually assaulting a woman.
The Uplands Park officer, 31-year-old Leon Pullen, is charged with violating the civil rights of the victim. The FBI says that in July, Pullen sexually assaulted the woman by "placing her in fear of death, bodily harm and kidnapping."
An FBI spokeswoman declined to offer further details.
Pullen did not have a listed phone number. An official at the police department declined comment.
The FBI is asking that any other potential victims call the FBI office in St. Louis at 314-231-4324.
Uplands Park has a population of about 500.
