EDWARDSVILLE - Alton Township Supervisor Donald J. Huber pleaded
guilty Thursday to his second driving under the influence charge and
was fined $600 and placed on one year of probation.
He was sentenced to alcohol treatment, which he already has
completed, and 12 months of probation.
Under state law, the conviction would result in a driver's license
revocation of at least one year, but under some circumstances,
drivers can get a hardship license if they agree to have a
breath-analysis tester installed in their cars.
