(FootballStL) - Rams rookie Alec Ogletree said he is not feeling any extra pressure heading into his first season, despite being considered one of the best linebackers in college football.
"No, I am here to play my game and help the team any way I can," Ogletree said in response to questions about the hightened expectations. "If coach calls my name, I'll be ready to go at any point."
Ogletree also indicated the learning curve is steep as the Rams begin training camp. He said he spoke to veterans Jo-Lonn Dunbar and James Laurinaitis about adjusting to the NFL.
"I spoke to them a lot about picking up on things that they knew about the league, they are very open to talking to us," Ogletree said.
Ogletree will get his first taste of full squad action Thursday.
