(KMOV) – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who robbed a bank inside of a Brentwood Dierbergs grocery store on Saturday.

Authorities said the suspect entered the grocery store in the 8400 block of Eager Rd. and walked up to the front counter of the First Bank.

Police said the suspect showed the teller a note demanding money and walked out of the store with an unknown amount of cash. He did not show a weapon, police said.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates ball cap, black sunglasses on the bill of the cap, an oversized light-blue long sleeve shirt on top of a dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. Police said he had a medium build and appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-371-TIPS. A reward of $1,000 will be given for information leading to an arrest.

Police said the same bank was robbed in January, though a suspect was later captured in that case.
