(KMOV) – Police have filed charges against a man accused of strangling a woman whose body was found inside a vacant north St. Louis building in late June.
Ricky Allen, 43, was charged Saturday with second-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Annette Brock.
Authorities said the Brock’s body was found in a building in the 4300 block of College around 6:25 p.m. on June 22.
Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma, though an autopsy revealed Brock’s cause of death was due to strangulation.
An investigation led police to Allen, who was arrested and taken into custody. His bond was set at $150,000.
The motive behind Brock’s death was not clear.
