Police investigating string a robberies across St. Louis City

(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Police are looking for suspects involved in two different overnight robberies Saturday, but police have not said if the incidents are related.

St. Louis Police reported a man was hit in the head and robbed near Marquette Park in the 4000 block of Minnesota.

The victim said three men took everything he had and fled, according to police. The incident was reported happening at 3 a.m. Saturday.

Then police reported another incidents happening thirty minutes near the Grove neighborhood.

Police on the scene said the second victim described a similar situation happening as the first victim.

Businesses in the areas affected said they are surprised by the crime.

“I’m very surprised with the activity you typically see from police…seems like it’d keep that activity from this area,” said Alarm Bar owner Mark Erney, “But I guess things still happen.”

Last weekend, four similar incidents happened throughout the city to five victims.

The suspects were all described the same as four men in their late teens riding around in a blue minivan.

Police are still looking for suspects in all incidents.
