(KMOV.com) – A St. Charles County teenager is sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to molesting children at his mother’s in-home daycare.

Jacob Dolson was 17 years old when prosecutors say he attacked four children last year.

On Thursday Dolson was sentenced to 30 years in prison for seven counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, and one count each of sexual misconduct involving a child, first-degree child molestation and first-degree statutory rape.

Authorities say the incidents happened at various times in 2012 at the Dolson residence in Wentzville. The victims ranged in age from 3 to 9 years old.

“What these children had to endure is incomprehensible,” said Prosecutor Tim Lohmar, in a news release. “The victims and their families all have strong support systems surrounding them, and we can only hope that eventually they can find some peace and normalcy once again.”

According to prosecutors, under Missouri law Dolson must serve 85% of his sentence and will be under lifetime supervision as a sex offender.
