(KMOV) – A woman was arrested after she allegedly struck a fence while trying to hit her boyfriend with a vehicle at an Oakville apartment late last month.
Katrina Baumgardner, 41, was charged July 1 with third-degree domestic assault and first-degree property damage.
Authorities said Baumgardner was in a longtime relationship with her boyfriend when she took his car from an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Innsbruck Dr. on June 30.
Police said she then attempted to hit her boyfriend with the vehicle, but he jumped out of the way. That’s when she went over a curb and slammed into a fence and balcony support pole.
Authorities said the incident caused about $2,000 in damage.
She was arrested and taken into custody on a $12,500 bail.
