Police search for woman accused of robbing bank at gunpoint

ST. JOHN, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a female suspect after an armed robbery at a bank in St. John on Saturday.

The robbery happened at St. John's Bank and Trust in the 9200 block of Natural Bridge Road just before noon.

Police say the woman robbed the bank at gunpoint, then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as having long, reddish hair, wearing a black hat, sunglasses, red gloves and a dark coat.

CrimeStoppers has offered a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to a felony arrest. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call 866-371-TIPS.
