(KMOV)—The Washington Park Police Department charged a 22-year-old man with sexually abusing a minor.
The St. Clair County State’s Attorney issued two counts of Criminal Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Minor and Domestic Battery against Terrence L. Pratcher after a minor reported her male roommate had allegedly beat her.
On Tuesday, the female victim reported the domestic battery incident, involving Pratcher, reporting she had nowhere to live now.
An investigation with the Washington Park Police revealed the female victim had been beaten, sexually assaulted, and held against her will.
At the time of his arrest, Pratcher was currently out on bond for a 2010 armed robbery in East St. Louis, wearing an electronic leg monitor.
Bail for Pratcher is set at $300,000.
Because of her age, the victim was released to the Department of Children and Family Services to get medical attention and counseling for her injuries. No word on the extent of her injuries.
