ST. LOUIS, Missouri (KMOV) -- St. Louis police are on the lookout for an armed robbery suspect who held up two people Wednesday night in west St. Louis.
The robberies were in a neighborhood filled with younger residents. Many of them are Washington University students.
Authorities said a 26-year-old Asian male reported that they were robbed in the 6000 block of Pershing Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
According to police, the suspect stole his laptop and Kindle.
Moments later, a 22-year-old victim said the suspect stole his laptop and iPhone on the same block.
Police say the robber had a handgun. He was described to police as a black male in his 20's with long dreadlocks. He was wearing a black t-shirt with writing and dark "skinny" jeans. He was last seen running west on Pershing Avenue toward the Washington University campus.
