CAHOKIA, Il. (KMOV) -- The superintendent of the Cahokia School District is placed on paid administrative leave after a school board's decision on Monday night.
There has been no clear reason given by the school board for placing Dr. Pamela Manning, who has been the subject of several News 4 Investigations, on paid administrative leave.
Voters rejected a bond issue to replace the aging Cahokia Senior High School last month, but the financially-strapped school district was still able to send school board members to a national school board conference in Boston this month.
News 4 also tracked board members in Chicago in 2010 at the expense of taxpayers.
