KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A Kansas City woman who was briefly on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list in a series of gang-related shootings is going back to prison on a weapons charge.
The U.S. Attorney's office says 29-year-old Shauntay Henderson was sentenced Monday to seven years and three months without parole for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Henderson was arrested in March 2007 within hours of being placed on the "Most Wanted" list. She was later convicted and served three years for a 2006 killing outside a Kansas City convenience store.
Henderson was released from prison in April 2010. Five months later, police saw her drop a handgun while running from officers conducting a drug investigation.
She pleaded guilty to the felon-in-possession charge last October.
