ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Firefighters were battling blazes that broke out at two homes in north St. Louis Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said the fire started at a two-story house at 4257 Clay around 4 p.m. before spreading to a home next door.
Firefighters arrived to the scene and found both houses engulfed in flames. Crews were able to quickly put out the fire at the second house, but were still battling flames where the fire originated.
Authorities said both houses are vacant. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
