ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A north St. Louis home caught fire Wednesday morning, sending large flames and smoke into the air.
Fire officials said the fire started inside a two-story brick home around 3 a.m. in the 3200 block of Harper Street.
Crews responded to the scene and found heavy fire and smoke coming from the windows and roof. Firefighters entered the home to search for victims, but did not find anyone.
Firefighters later learned the home was in the process of being renovated.
Authorities are now looking in to what might have caused the fire.
