(KMOV.com) -- A vehicle came to rest upside down after striking a light pole in south St. Louis Tuesday morning.
According to reports, this accident happened around 6:15 a.m. near the intersection of South Grand Boulevard and Chippewa Street.
The northbound lanes of Grand were closed while crews cleared the scene. The impact of the crash knocked the light pole onto the street, blocking a traffic.
Police have not yet determined what caused the driver to lose control and strike the pole. An ambulance responded to the scene, but the extent of any injuries is unknown.
The northbound lanes of Grand have been reopened.
