(KMOV) – The Missouri Department of Transportation is closing two major stretches of Interstate 64/40 in west St. Louis County Friday night.
Starting at 8 p.m., the interstate will be closed near Chesterfield Parkway West and Chesterfield Airport Rd. as crews tear down the two bridges over the interstate.
The interstate is expected to remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday.
During the closures, drivers are urged to use Interstate 70 or the Page Avenue extension as alternate routes.
