(KMOV) -- Ballpark Village officials on Friday will begin the first day of a new tradition called "Fridays on Clark".

"Fridays on Clark" will take place on Clark Street between Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village. The event is expected to be a downtown celebration with a street festival atmosphere, live music, and more.

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. every Friday with the ceremonial arrival of a different featured beer. Deliveries will range from the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale hitch to aerial athletes repelling from a helicopter.

Thirty-year beer veteran, Tony Caradonna, will preside over Friday's festivities as the "Captain of Fridays on Clark." The event will feature a different guest of honor each week.

Festivities will last until 7 p.m., but Ballpark Village officials encourage participants to remain downtown and enjoy everything St. Louis has to offer.
