(KMOV.com) – A 26-year-old man is in custody after firing shots into a group of teenage boys, injuring one, in north St. Louis Tuesday night.
According to police, the teenage victims, ranging in age from 14 to 18 years old, were seated on the front steps of a home in the 4800 block of Lee when the suspect pulled up in a burgundy vehicle. An argument began between the suspect and teenagers before the suspect pulled a gun out of his vehicle and fired one shot into the group.
A 17-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the buttock and was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
The suspect was taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
