(KMOV) – Authorities say a man drove himself to the police station after being shot in north St. Louis early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the man had a gunshot wound to the arm when he pulled up to the Central Patrol police station at 919 N. Jefferson Ave. around 3:30 a.m.

He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Police did not say where the man had been shot.

No other details were immediately available.
