(KMOV.com) – Cool Valley is offering those with outstanding warrants a way to clear their name.
The municipality announced it will be offering amnesty for a second straight week, it initially held Amnesty Week between March 17-21. Officials said most people clearing their names in connection with old traffic violations. Amnesty Week ends Friday, March 28.
“This is just another way we are trying to help individuals who have made a mistake. We don't want that held against them for them being able to get a job and things like that," Cool Valley Mayor Viola Murphy said.
If you want to have your name cleared, visit the Cool Valley Municipal Court on Signal Hill Drive; you will have to pay $100.
