(KMOV) – If you thought Friday and Saturday’s beautiful weather marked the end of this year’s brutal winter weather, think again. It appears we will be getting snow Monday evening.
Temperatures Monday morning were in the 30s and expected to reach a high of about 40 degrees by the afternoon.
A chance of rain and/or snow will arrive sometime Monday night.
“Most snow will melt on the pavement this evening and overnight, but some grassy spots may collect some minor snow accumulation, generally under an inch if any at all,” said News 4 Chief Meteorologist Steve Templeton.
“It could be worse, on this date last year we were tracking a storm that brought 12.8” of snow to St. Louis.”
The snow showers will pass overnight, though a quick morning flurry might make an appearance Tuesday.
“The mild weather returns with warmer 50s by mid-week and then we turn our attention to showers and storms that will develop Wednesday night and Thursday,” said Templeton.
