(KMOV) – A car ended up on its roof after wrecking in south St. Louis early Friday morning.

Police responded to the scene in the 3700 block of Wabash Ave. near Tholozan Ave. around 3 a.m. and found a car on its roof. 

A nearby tree was split in half, and the car’s bumper was seen near the tree. There was no word on whether the driver ran into the tree before crashing.

The car was later towed from the scene.

The cause of the wreck was unknown. 

It was unknown if anyone was injured.
