EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Investigators are trying to determine what caused a deadly house fire in East St. Louis on Saturday morning.
The fire broke out at a home in the 600 block of North 79th St. around 8 a.m.
Officials said a 16-year-old male was killed in the fire, while seven other people were able to escape the home without injury.
Fire officials have not said what may have sparked the blaze.
