JUPITER, Fla. (KMOV) - Cardinals ace Chris Carpenter will make his fourth start of the spring today when St. Louis hosts the New York Mets at Roger Dean Stadium.

Carpenter's coming off his worst start of the spring, allowing seven runs on ten hits in four innings pitched when he faced the Florida Marlins last Friday. He'll hope to regain his Carpenter-like form against a New York Mets lineup that's without most of its projected Opening Day starters.

The Cardinals, however, feature a lineup that you're most likely to see in a mid-April game. The only one missing from today's lineup is catcher Yadier Molina, who left yesterday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with a strained oblique muscle.

Here are the lineups for today's game:

New York Mets:

1. Jordany Valdespin, 2B

2. Ruben Tejada, SS

3. Gary Matthews, Jr., CF

4. Mike Jacobs, 1B

5. Fernando Tatis, 3B

6. Frank Catalanotto, LF

7. Henry Blanco, C

8. Fernando Martinez, RF

9. John Maine, RHP

St. Louis Cardinals:

1. Skip Schumaker, 2B

2. Felipe Lopez, 3B

3. Albert Pujols, 1B

4. Matt Holliday, LF

5. Colby Rasmus, CF

6. Ryan Ludwick, RF

7. Brendan Ryan, SS

8. Jason LaRue, C

9. Chris Carpenter, RHP
