(KMOV) -- A man was shot by a teenager as he walked past a home in North St. Louis.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of Cora around 9:30 p.m. Friday night. Police say the victim, a 28-year-old black male, was walking past the residence when he heard gunfire. When the shooting stopped, the man realized he had been struck. The victim ran into another nearby home and an ambulance was called.
The suspect is a 17-year-old black male who police say fired the shots from the front porch of the residence. Police determined the victim and the suspect knew eachother.
The victim is reported in stable condition.
