(KMOV)-- A former St. Louis police officer is sentenced to two years probation for the theft of government property.
Christian Brezill was also ordered to pay restitution to the F.B.I. jointly with co-defendant Ronald Jackson. The two were caught back in July of 2009 as part of an F.B.I. sting at a gas station in north St. Louis.
Authorities say Brezill and Jackson arrested a woman who was selling stolen electronics out of her car. Investigators say the officers kept the electronics instead of turning them over as evidence. Turns out, it was all part of a an F.B.I. sting operation.
