An Alton, IL firefighter is accused for the third time of exposing himself in public. The first time the charges were dropped down to disorderly conduct. The second time, in 2007, has yet to come to trial. (It will in May) The third time was this month. The City (in a written statement) said he is innocent until proven guilty. He is, indeed. He is on paid administrative leave at this time. Residents I talked to agreed he is allowed due process, but after saying that, one woman also said she wouldn't want him in her house. Another said multiple accusations is concerning. Firefighters put their lives on the line and are in a position of trust. It would be a shame if that trust is misplaced.
