Cards' line-up set for today's game

Jupiter, Fla (KMOV) – Rich Hill will make the start for the St. Louis Cardinals today as they play the Atlanta Braves for the first time this Grapefruit League season.

Hill, who’s fighting for the fifth spot in the starting rotation, has yielded two runs on six hits over four innings pitched in spring training thus far. This late in the Grapefruit League season, an opportunity like Hill has becomes more and more important.

Matt Holliday is again out of the line-up, as he continues to nurse his strained rib cage.

Tim Hudson, who was on the disabled list for most of the 2009 season, will get the ball for the Braves.

Here’s the line-up for the Cardinals:

1.       Skip Schumaker, 2B

2.       Felipe Lopez, SS

3.       Albert Pujols, 1B

4.       Colby Rasmus, CF

5.       Ryan Ludwick, RF

6.       Allen Craig, LF

7.       Yadier Molina, C

8.       David Freese, 3B

9.       Rich Hill, LHP

Available pitchers: Dennys Reyes, Mitchell Boggs, Jason Motte, Blake Hawksworth
