(KMOV) -- Most people know the Edward Jones Dome as a hub for Rams football, but the dome is making considerable transformations in order to host some of the biggest names in the NCAA men's college basketball tournament, better known as March Madness.
The end zone area inside the Edwards Jones Dome is being transformed into center court for next week's NCAA regionals. The collapsible bleachers are being set up close to the 50-yard line - they take the dome and cut it in half, turning a 66,000-seat stadium into a smaller area that will seat 46,000 people for basketball.
The final piece of the puzzle is the basketball floor. It's a specially-made hardwood court that the NCAA is paying for. It will be installed next Tuesday.
