(KMOV) -- Effective at the end of the 2009-2010 school year, the Southwestern School District will be cutting dozens of jobs affecting teachers, administrators and support staff.
Approximately 20 teachers will be without jobs next year. Of those 20 jobs, 13 were non-tenured positions and seven were tenured ones. Also, four full-time teachers have been reduced to part-time.
In addition to teacher cuts, three administrators jobs will be cut, and 51 support staff members were let go. About 26 support staff members will retain their positions in the fall of 2010.
