(KMOV) -- A man has been charged in connection with the body found in a Madison County cemetery.

Michael Bovinett, 36, was charged with 1 count each of Drug Induced Homicide, Concealment of a Homicidal death, and Obstructing Justice.

The Major Case Squad said Bovinett and Chad Q. Bell, 29, were on a drug binge and Bovinett provided much of the drugs. Officers said when Bell overdosed, Bovinett allegedly abandoned his body at Friedens Cemetery off State Route 162 in Troy.

Authorities say a cemetery worker found Bell's body lying at the back of the cemetery above ground.

Bovinett was taken into custody on Wednesday and remains at the Madison County Jail. His bond has been set at $1 million.
