DECATUR, Ill. (AP) -- Police in central Illinois have arrested five people in connection with the alleged abduction of two boys who were found safe in St. Louis.
Macon County court records show the three women and two men each face a preliminary charge of aggravated kidnapping.
All were being held Thursday in the Macon County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond each.
Police found 1-month-old J'Marcus Upchurch and 4-year-old Terry Antonio Smith, both of Decatur, early Wednesday in St. Louis.
An Amber Alert was triggered after the boys were reported missing.
Authorities say the boys were taken at gunpoint Tuesday outside a residential facility for dependent and neglected children, shortly after a visit with their mother.
