Connect With...Spotlight Of The Week: COCA's Junior Board
By Content Creator
COCA’s (Center Of Creative Arts) Junior Board is a group of motivated, community minded, and philanthropic young professionals who have an interest in engaging the St. Louis community in the arts. The group’s mission is to provide leadership and fundraising while expanding COCA’s community presence through each member’s professional and social contacts. Members serve as ambassadors for COCA throughout the community and work to support the organization’s mission.
In its inaugural year, the Junior Board is focused on building awareness, attendance, and sponsorship for COCA’s annual spring fundraiser COCAcabana, as well as planning and promoting “friendraising” events. In addition to serving on the Junior Board, members volunteer their time and talents by serving on one of COCA’s many committees, which provide volunteer expertise and oversight to COCA’s programs and fundraising initiatives.
On Saturday, March 20 from 7-10 pm, the Junior Board will host Immersion...a social event for young professionals intended to expose you to COCA’s mission and services. The event will include interactive arts activities, a hip-hop demonstration, vocal performances, food and drinks. Tickets are $30.00
