(KMOV) -- Police are investigating a string of car break-ins in downtown St. Louis.

Atleast 15 vehicles were broken into in three different locations in the loft district. The 1100 block of St. Charles, 22nd and Locust, and the 700 block of North 17th.

Authorities said the thieves didn't get much, even though one victim had valuables in the car. He had a GPS unit in his console, his credit card on the seat, and valuables in the trunk.

One car was reported stolen.

Police did recover a van believed to be involved in the crimes, but no arrests have been made. Police do believe the same suspects are responsible for all the break-ins.
