Big rocks came rolling down from a bluff in Jefferson County on Monday evening. Those rocks slid onto Highway 30 near Byrnes Mill Road. Modot tells News4 that no one was hurt in the slide. It took crews about an hour to clean up the mess left behind. While covering this story this morning I noticed there were a number of permanent signs that warns of falling rocks. MODOT tells me geologist will return to the scene to find out how the slide happened.
