On Wednesday, President Obama will be in St. Charles. That afternoon he’ll speak to an invitation only crowd of 400 at St. Charles High School. The focus of his speech will be on health care. St. Charles Superintendent Randal Charles tells me that there is quite a bit of excitement in the air surrounding the visit. Today, crews spent most of the day unloading trucks full of supplies for the event. Along with the 400 invited guests the set up staff have to prepare for all of the media expected to attend the event.
The President will also make an appearance for a fundraiser for Senator Claire McCaskill before leaving the St. Louis area. That event will be downtown at the Renaissance Grand Hotel.
