As we approach the Halloween holiday, parents begin grimacing at the thought of bags and bags of candy and how harmful it can be on their children's teeth.
But a local business, Mastroianni Orthodontics, has developed a wonderful option to assist those parents who want to allow their children to enjoy
candy collection, but don't want to see their kids ingest it all.
Mastroianni Orthodontics is offering the community a candy buyback program.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12, children are invited to bring in their Halloween candy to exchange it for a gift certificate.
