ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A Kirkwood man has pleaded guilty to drug-related charges after U.S. Secret Service agents found stolen nightclub equipment and 400 pounds of marijuana at an East St. Louis club.
Robert Williams will be sentenced Jan. 21 in federal court in St. Louis. The 46-year-old pleaded guilty Thursday to transporting stolen property between states and marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
Federal agents last year investigated reports Williams had stripped fixtures and commercial equipment from a St. Louis club.
Prosecutors say when agents executed a search warrant at Club TV One in East St. Louis, they also found the pot. Club TV One did not have a listed number to call for comment.
