ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Anheuser-Busch Foundation has contributed $1 million to a renovated student fitness center at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.
The foundation says its gift will be announced during a formal dedication ceremony before the school's homecoming game Saturday.
The first phase of the $7.4 million athletic facility upgrade has been completed through corporate and alumni contributions. The upgrade includes a new fitness center, varsity weight room and air conditioning.
The foundation says it has made several other donations this year to educational institutions including the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Saint Louis University, Harris-Stowe State University and Fontbonne University.
