ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Visitation and funeral arrangements have been made for a 23-year-old St. Louis police officer whose vehicle crashed as he responded to a burglary.
Julius Moore died Thursday from injuries he sustained in an Oct. 6 crash in his patrol car.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Austin A. Layne Mortuary's Renaissance Chapel in the St. Louis suburb of Jennings.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the City of Life Church in University City. Moore will then be buried at St. Peter's Cemetery in Normandy.
Moore was driving to assist fellow officers trying to apprehend burglars when his patrol vehicle, with lights and siren on, collided with a turning tractor trailer.
