ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A member of a motorcycle gang has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges for his part in bringing thousands of pounds of marijuana to the St. Louis area.
Edward Boroughf pleaded guilty Thursday to two firearms charges and a charge of conspiracy to distribute in excess of 1,000 kilograms of pot.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Friday that the 39-year-old has been or is the local president of the Invaders Motorcycle Club. Prosecutors said some club members and others brought 3,000 to 5,000 kilos of pot from Texas and Arizona to the St. Louis region since 1994.
Boroughf was one of 15 men indicted on drug charges in January.
