Illini: Hoosiers looking to keep hope alive

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -- The Illini look to overcome a three-game losing streak as they meet Indiana tomorrow in Bloomington.

Illini junior receiver Arrelious Benn burned Indiana's secondary for seven catches and 130 yards a year ago. Benn has only 13 receptions for 176 yards in five games this season. He still hasn't caught a TD pass since last playing the Hoosiers.

For Illinois, the Indiana game has traditionally been a chance to get healthy. The Illini have won two straight in the series and 12 of the last 17, dating to 1988.

If they can do it again, the Illini will leave Bloomington with a boost of confidence.
