ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and several other city and federal officials will announce details next week for a program aimed at helping the homeless.
The city received an $8.4 million grant from stimulus money for the "Hope is Moving In" initiative. The money will be used to develop programs to prevent homelessness, find housing for those who are homeless, and provide permanent housing to support the homeless.
Details for the initiative will be discussed at a news conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
