EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- Police say they've arrested a man suspected of making a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of a criminal courts building in southwestern Illinois' Madison County.
Investigators say the threat was found Monday afternoon in the Madison County Criminal Justice Center in Edwardsville.
No bomb was found after a bomb-sniffing dog and its handler from the Alton Police Department searched the building.
The courthouse was evacuated for about two hours as a precaution and remained closed for the rest of the day.
The suspect's name is being withheld, pending the filing of charges.
