East St. Louis man sentenced after robbing drug dealer

(KMOV)-- An East St. Louis man was sentenced after being convicted in August on charges of conspiracy to interfere with commerce by threats or violence and possession of firearm.

Reginald Moses, 25, was sentenced by the United States District Court in East St. Louis to 3 years in prison, a $300 fine, and a term of 5 years' supervised release on Monday.

Moses was charged after an incident in June 2009 where he and others were accused of robbing a drug dealer at gunpoint and taking more than 600 grams of crack cocaine. A vehicle chase then ensued through multiple counties and ended with Moses firing shots at the drug dealer’s vehicle.
